一、指导思想

在本学期的英语教学中,坚持以下理念的应用:第一要面向全体学生,关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感和自信心,培养创新精神;第二目标设计要以学生技能,语言知识,情感态度,学习策略和文化意识的发展为基础;突出学生主体,尊重个体差异;第三要注重过程评价,促进学生发展,建立能激励学生学习兴趣和自主学习能力发展的评价体系。总之,让学生在使用英语中学习英语,让学生成为Good user而不仅仅Learner。让他们在使用和学习英语的过程中,体味到轻松和成功的快乐。

本学期,本备课组将针对初二年级教材特点,以课程标准为杠杆,以如何调动学生学习积极性,提高学生学习英语的兴趣为指导思想,采取有效的教学手段和方法,在不增加学生的学习负担下,做到师生互动,学生主动的共同发展课堂,全面提高学生的听、说、读、写能力,提高课堂教学效率和学生的学习效率。

积极全面开展教学、教育和科研工作,通过整个备课组的努力,力争英语成绩在去年的水平上有一定程度的提高。认真高效备课,狠抓课堂教学,向45分钟要质量;缩小班与班的差距,将平行班各班级分差控制在5分以内,实验班各班级均分继续保持在3分以内;在初二阶段的日常教学中注重基础知识训练,强化听说练习,将优秀率提升;积极辅导学生参加竞赛,争取取得优秀的成绩。

四、学期工作重点

1、继续培养良好的学习习惯,在学生学习的过程中,既要抓布置,更要抓检查,对于一些不良的习惯要早发现,早处理,不让其发展。学习上抓中间,促两头,防止后进生队伍的扩大。

2、继续坚持集体备课,发挥集体智慧,认真钻研教材,改进教法,提高课堂效率。我们备课组教师将珍惜每周备课时间,共同研究教法,经常性进行组内互听互评,不断提升自身业务水平。针对教材的特点,备课组全体成员要做到精心备课,吃透教材,根据每个单元各自特征和学生的实际能力,制定出不同教学设计方案,以此促进学生的积极性。在平时的常规课堂教学时,力求教学明确目标,突出重点,抓住关键点和难点,充分调动学生的积极性,发挥学习主动性。

3、注意传授知识与及时评价相结合,强化反馈,强化落实。

在课堂上力求把每节课的每个知识点,如语音、词汇、语法讲清楚、讲透彻。针对有的知识点在课堂上讲练多次,但学生仍未掌握的知识,要及时把知识传授和评价结合起来并对部分学困生进行个别辅导,对知识点及时讲评。

4、通过英语竞赛活动来提高学生学习英语的兴趣和积极性,为初三的学习做好铺垫。

5、针对学生英语学习“两极分化”现象,我们将采取如下措施:

1)结合各班实际,仔细研究教材,制定切实可行的教学方法

特别注意面向全体,随时调整教学进度、深度,提出的问题要注意深浅结合、因人而异,増强学生学习英语的信心,顺利完成教学计划,对待每一位学生都满腔热情、一视同仁,为每位学生的成长负责。

2)对学习困难生要加倍关心、特殊爱护,耐心辅导差生,耐心解答他们学习疑难问题,使之掌握有效的学习策略。让每位学生真正感到教师是他们的知音,产生亲近感,有利于师生间的情感交流、教学和谐。

五、创造课程特色

1)层次性

我们最终的教学目标是通过三年的英语综合能力的培养,学生的英语综合素质能达到较好的水平。但是在教学初阶段,还是要立足基础知识,一定要把学生的基础打好,随着学生基础知识的增加,逐层加深难度,逐步把学生引入更高层次的内容。

2)合作性

小组合作学习易于相互传递和接受信息,易于相互激励参与意识,发挥各自特长,学生之间能更好的取长补短,达到小组资源共享以及知识和能力的相互促进。

3)实践性

结合学生的年龄特点和生活实际,创设丰富的交际活动情景,增强语言实践的真实感,鼓励学生积极主动地参与语言实践活动和创造性使用语言的尝试,使学生获得不同的实践体验,提高综合运用英语的能力。我们的课程除牛津教材以外还会选用的大量阅读、听力材料,内容涉及各个领域,有日常生活、名人介绍、异域风情、文化艺术、科学探索等等。在学习了这些知识之后通过开展大量的学生自主参与的活动,使学生充分了解中西方文化差异,感受多元文化的精彩。

4)探究性

新课改要求培养学生自主探索并解决问题的能力,即“探究学习”。在教学中要善于挖掘教材中蕴含的创造性因素,通过设疑、创设情境,让学生积极运用所学的知识主动探索求异,大胆进行发散性创造。
