《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇1

With the rapid development of China's economy, the aging problem and other problems need to be solved. An aging society is defined as the proportion of the elderly population exceeds the original level. An event has happened in China, which has aroused widespread concern of the society.

It is not difficult to believe that an aging society has an inevitable disadvantage, which not only affects retirees, but also affects all social strata, because everyone is closely connected with the society, which obviously reduces the social burden, At the same time, due to the lack of labor concentration, the productivity has declined and the problem has further worsened. Therefore, considering the seriousness of the aging problem, social instability represented by pension is likely to appear in the future. We can take effective measures to improve productivity, meet the minimum living needs of all the elderly, and adjust medical care The supply of medical services, the development and improvement of medical insurance and health care system, and the realization of the health of the elderly, we should take effective measures to provide spiritual food for the aging population.

In terms of methods, I believe that we will have a bright future in the aspect of population aging.

《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇2

The first Arbor Day took place on April 10, 1872 in Nebraska. It was the brainchild of Julius Sterling Morton (1832-1902), a Nebraska journalist and politician originally from Michigan. Throughout his long and productive career, Morton worked to improve agricultural techniques in his adopted state and throughout the United States when he served as President Grover Cleveland's Secretary of Agriculture. But his most important legacy is Arbor Day.

Morton (photo, right) felt that Nebraska's landscape and economy would benefit from the wide-scale planting of trees. He set an example himself planting orchards, shade trees and wind breaks on his own farm and he urged his neighbours to follow suit. Morton's real opportunity, though, arrived when he became a member of Nebraska's state board of agriculture.

He proposed that a special day be set aside dedicated to tree planting and increasing awareness of the importance of trees. Nebraska's first Arbor Day was an amazing success. More than one million trees were planted. A second Arbor Day took place in 1884 and the young state made it an annual legal holiday in 1885, using April 22nd to coincide with Morton's birthday.

In the years following that first Arbor Day, Morton's idea spread beyond Nebraska with Kansas, Tennessee, Minnesota and Ohio all proclaiming their own Arbor Days. Today all 50 states celebrate Arbor Day although the dates may vary in keeping with the local climate. (State Arbor Days) At the federal level, in 1970, President Richard Nixon proclaimed the last Friday in April as National Arbor Day.

Arbor Day is also now celebrated in other countries including Australia. Variations are celebrated as 'Greening Week' of Japan, 'The New Year's Days of Trees' in Israel, 'The Tree-loving Week' of Korea, 'The Reforestation Week' of Yugoslavia, 'The Students' Afforestation Day' of Iceland and 'The National Festival of Tree Planting' in India. Julius Sterling Morton would be proud. Sometimes one good idea can make a real difference.

For the homeowner, Arbor Day is an excellent opportunity to take stock of the trees on your property and plan for the future. Inspect your trees. Note any broken branches or evidence of disease or insect infestation. Think about how planting new trees might improve the look of your property or provide wind or heat protection.

Take a trip to your local nursery to see what's available and to get new ideas. Walk around your neighbourhood. Are there any public areas where tree planting or tree maintenance might make a real difference to your community?Talk with your neighbours. Find out what their opinions are. And, oh yes, plant a tree.

《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇3

Listen to my grandma said, before our door there is no road, is a large field, people are taking more than one meter wide path, if you encounter a rainy day, everywhere is puddles, road more difficult to walk. At that time, the farmers were not rich, and a bicycle was good. We did not want to drink water, tap water, the water to go all the way back, very convenient. Later, the reform and opening up, we also built the road in the village, wide and flat. Farmers have gradually become rich, and some also buy cars. Every household in the village also has tap water, a wring of the tap, the water will be ‘ clam ’ the ground flow down, life has begun to become better. Talking about the past, grandma was deeply impressed.

Yes, the reform and opening up, the motherland has become stronger, the life of the farmers have become better, and hope that our motherland will be better tomorrow.

《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇4

Much to our distress, these years have seen a widespread neglect of patriotic education in our society. 2) According to some official reports, many patriotic education centers have been closed down or kept open to the public for other more profitable purposes while many of our national heroes have given way to today's pop stars in youths' minds. 3) If this current is allowed to run its course, I am afraid, things are bound to turn for the worse, with less and less sense of patriotism left in the youth.

The significance of patriotic education to our society, however, can be seen from the perspectives as follows. 5) In the first place, the patriotic education can make youth more aware of the glorious history and culture of our nation, thus building up their sense of pride as Chinese. In the second, the patriotic education helps youth value today's hard-earned life so as to hold dearer their golden chances of enriching themselves with knowledge in peace. And above all, the patriotic education can push youth to draw upon more of their capabilities in order to make tomorrow's life better than today's and leave behind themselves more highlights for the nation's culture. 8) To sum up, patriotic education is a key ingredient in the all-round development of youth.

So the most pressing for us now is how to effectively inculcate patriotism in the youth of today. 10) In my opinion, the first step should be focused upon giving fuller play to the potentials of patriotic education centers instead of running them for the purpose of making money. Then, greater efforts must be made to integrate the patriotic education into the curriculums throughout youth's education.

In one word, where there is an effective patriotic education of youth, there is a greater enhancement of national cohesiveness.

The fact is,after 30 years of bone-shaking,mind-bending economic group, everyone knows about brand China, but few can name a specific Chinese brand. As we continue our series on China,NPR's Rob Gifford tells us the reason for that is not just economic.

the cost of raw materials such as cotton, plastics and electronic components,is rising.Although the Chinese currency has been rising against the dollar, which could help ease rising costs for imported raw materials, manufacturers say even locally made materials are getting more expensive.

《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇7

Environmental problems are being more and more serious all over the world. For example, cars have made the air unhealthy for people to breathe and poisonous gas is given off by factories. Trees on the hills have been cut down and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers.Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. Pollution is, in fact, threatening our existence.

The earth is our home and we have the duty to take care of it for ourselves and for our later generations. Fortunately, more and more people have realized these problems. Measures have been taken to cope with these problems by the government. Laws have been passed to stop pollution. I hope the problem will be solved in the near future and our home will bee better and better.

Environmental problems are being more and more serious all over the world. With the development of industry and agriculture, cars make great noises and give off poisonous gas. Trees on the hills have been cut down, and waste water is being poured continuously into rivers. Furthermore, wherever we go today, we can find rubbish carelessly disposed. The whole ecological balance of the earth is changing. Massive destruction of environment has brought about negative effects and even poses a great threat to man's existence.

《美丽的中国》的观后感英文版 篇8

The last hidden world ----China.

After watching the video for the second time, I was still fascinated by the well-bedded terraces, endless steppes, beautiful mountains and etc. There is no doubt that this video is a completely outstanding documentary which reflects Chinese Human Geography. To be honest, as a Chinese, I feel ashamed that I have not seen the most sceneries in this video. Our country is so attractive that I can not wait to learn more about it.

In addition, when I was attracted by the beautiful scenery, I still thought about the development of our country. China has the largest population and the most ancient culture in the world, developing is the most important problem now. Land desertification, water resources crisis, more and more Industrial wastes, we need to face all those problems.

Although China has vast territory and abundant resources, we should take care of it. There are so many species have disappeared forever, what we can do is to do our best to protect them. I hope our country will be wild not only in the past but also in the future.
